This is a very bright LED strip but it was bright enough for me to light up the second floor headliner. I used charcoal glue to attach the wire directly to the skin and I think it will stay there even in bad weather because this LED strip is very light. There are 16 solid colors to choose from, but you cannot create your own. You can switch between colors instantly or as a smooth fade in/out. There is also a mode in which two groups of lights change color in different ways (the LEDs in the groups appear to be mixed randomly), this gives the impression of lights glowing randomly, very cool.
