The fabric car seats smelled of sweat, so I cleaned them first with baking soda and vinegar (as recommended on several websites). It didn't really work, except my car now has a lingering vinegar smell. I have used this product to get rid of the vinegar smell and it seems to have worked. The vial contained a concentrated solution to be mixed with water. A mixture of 20:1 for general cleaning and 8:1 for stubborn stains is recommended. I chose 8-to-1 for my car seats and it was too strong. I coughed when I sprayed this substance and it was very soapy. I suggest sticking with a 20 to 1 mix for your seats and carpets. The product has a very pleasant lemon scent that almost completely disappears in a day or two. I definitely recommend this product for cleaning car seats and carpets.
