I didn't see any advantage in using this over not using it. I use cleaning tablets to clean and have noticed spots on my glasses every now and then. I added this to help but it didn't seem to help at all - sometimes it just seems to make things worse. I think what works best if you get stains is to make sure there is hot water in the nearby sink until hot before you start washing and turn off any heated wash options. It doesn't seem to add any value to my washes so I just stopped using it.
