Review on AC201710300001 MegaDeal Swivel Caster Bearing by Mohmed Burt

I used these to secure to the bottom of two filing cabinets I made that weighed about 40 pounds each, empty. Yes, as all the other reviews say ", they smell. I ran them through the dishwasher on a very high heat (I didn't use the dry setting because I didn't want the rubber to melt) and then left them on the porch for a day. The smell was up Gone there for the most part and wasn't as strong anymore.I only needed 8 12 so I didn't really treat the 4 wheels for smell but used that as a control to see if there was a difference.As I mentioned before , don't smell them at all once they're attached to the bottom of the furniture.In fact I painted my cabinets a few days ago and when I brought them inside I smelled more paint.I installed them.You'll use them ended up with Lowes #10 screws, which was the right depth for my project. d's are not smooth/domed to allow them to sit tighter on the wheel mount, but that wasn't a problem. They rolled from the porch to the house without a sweat. They walk around the office when I need them. Reviews where people complain that they don't roll well, I don't know what purpose they use them for, but I personally try not to use my furniture for skateboarding around the house. They roll on the carpet when I need it and that's all that matters. Five stars even though they smell because the price just can't be beat.
