There is nothing complicated about this product. It's simple and helps protect the ends of carbon cranks from the hardest contact. I had these on my last bike and loved them. So I didn't even think about it when I bought a newer bike and needed a different crank guard than I now have a SRAM X01 (Eagle) and I used to have Race Face. They don't quite match SRAM, but close enough. What initially annoyed me was that the delivery time of 3-5 days was indicated before I placed my order. After I placed the order, it suddenly jumped to 10-14 days. I moaned, rolled my eyes and sucked it in. They finally got here today (no #revain notifications either), and of course the color isn't even close to what was shown. As I said, I had them on my last bike before, the Yeti. The color came very close to the turquoise Yeti. My new bike is also a classic turquoise Yeti. I thought they would look great on the tops of my black SRAM cranks, but the color is reminiscent of ocean green. I don't know, but it's definitely NOT the color that was advertised or that I had before. I don't know if #RaceFace changed color or if #WorldWideCyclery just took away what they had on hand, but now I have to decide if I should pay the postage and take the pain of sending them back and on forever to wait for a replacement. it could be the same, or a refund of less than $10, or just eat it and be mad that I was taken away. Money. It's not even close. I could buy black ones at any of the many local bike shops in my area and wouldn't have to wait weeks to get them. Many Thanks. You've just earned yourself another disgruntled former customer. I will not order them again. Update 2021: WorldWide Cyclery really impressed me with their prompt and thorough response. They were very accommodating and processed the loan quickly. I was really shocked to be honest. Even though this product didn't look like what I expected, I would still buy it from WorldWide Cyclery again. They definitely support their business.
