All in all these lights are great! I bought a light to replace the stock license plate light after one of the stock lights on our car blew out. The backlight gives a bright white light and makes the license plate easier to read. The only complaint I have about the light is that they can be a bit inconsistent. I replaced both lightbulbs maybe two months ago and one has already burned out. Whether it's a problem with the car's wiring or a faulty lightbulb remains to be seen. Unfortunately, I missed the opportunity to register the blown bulb, so I couldn't claim the warranty. Let's see how long this second bulb lasts.
