To be honest, I didn't even get a chance to really "test" the product. I bought a pair (L&R). Left for me, right for my wife. When ordering, I paid attention to the size grid and ordered accordingly. My ankle measures 10 inches in circumference at the described/intended location. My "typical" shoe size is 8 ½ - 9. This results in a "medium" orthotic size. Shoe size 8.5. This results in a bracket size of "Medium". I ordered (1) Medium RT and (1) Medium LT. They were MUCH small. Neither my wife nor I were able to thread the cuff even through the proximal knuckles of the feet. The size chart is not even remotely accurate, or even an approximation. I sent both back on credit. There is no exchange. I do not recommend the product or the company.
