Great card, bad software

The biggest problem right now is the sound side of the software under the acoustic engine. The Sound Blaster Connect 2 software is problematic at best. There were 2 cases where the sound stopped working. I did a hard reset of the software. This software cannot store multiple personal sound presets. Saving personal presets for movies, games, and music is what the software lacks. They really expect a gamer to tweak their preferred sound settings every time they play a game, or a music lover to tweak their preferred music settings every time. Does he want to listen to music? The sound card itself is by far the best thing Creative has done to date. However, the software is shoddy at best. So basically we're paying for a great sound card and crappy software. My system: Intel 7700k Standard Speed, Asus Maximus IX HERO (Bio ver 1009), NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti, Sound BlasterX AE-5, 2x Intel SSD Raid 0, 16 GB Crucial Memory.
