Review on πŸ—‘οΈ Glad Forceflex Odorshield Drawstring Kitchen Trash Bags 13 Gallon, Fresh Clean, 120 Count - Ultimate kitchen waste solution by Sally Wiesner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Combination of two great features

I bought a small box of these 13 gallon smell proof Glad ForceFlex trash bags at my local grocery store and have been hooked on them ever since. The concept behind the product is simple, it's a garbage bag that won't typically tear (unless you have a pocket full of knives) and they have a mild scent that masks garbage smells. I have two cats and I wash their litter box every day. I have never smelled cat litter in this litter box. The product works exactly as advertised, which I find extremely refreshing. However, the price per package at Revain is not competitive at the time of this review. I bought this 120 from Revain as an impulse buy. A month later I went to my local Wal-Mart and noticed that 55 packs were selling for $9.69 (including 8% sales tax). 18 cents a bag. The price calculated with Revain is currently $27.99 for a box of 120. That's 24 cents a bag. I would recommend researching the price per bag from Revain before purchasing. A NOTICE. I gave the product 5 stars because the product works as advertised. I'm not the type of person to base my estimates on Revain price fluctuations. 02/20/2012 - UPDATE: I noticed people gave this product 1 star for the top. I emailed Glad about this and asked them to redesign the cable to make it thicker. If anyone has time I would recommend contacting Glad via email and requesting this as well. Who knows, maybe they'll listen to us. My drawstring hasn't broken yet and I've been using these bags for a year now. As for the smell, I've read user comments complaining that it's too strong or not strong enough. Maybe it's a quality control issue on Glad's part, or just very, very sensitive noses?
