This is a great toothpaste because it contains xylitol, but I don't really like that it's a gel. It's too slimy. If you are looking for a children's toothpaste for a child who does not have dental problems and wants to use it regularly, this is great. However, if this is for a child who has dental problems/early signs of tooth decay or for a child who needs a little more sand in their toothpaste to ensure food particles and residue are removed and nothing sticks to their teeth; This toothpaste is not for you. If you already bought it I suggest you add a small amount of baking soda for more texture.
