Review on ๐Ÿ‘ถ Responsibility Developmental Encourages: Melissa & Doug by Matt Louis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

We loved using it, but half the magnets don't stick.

I bought this for my daughter to use as a potty training treat and also for a future morning and evening routine. I'm disappointed that after the research I've done for similar boards I chose the Melissa to test if it's well made - half the magnets don't even stick to the board. The quality and design of the wooden button is good but the magnet itself is terrible. (Probably 50% of these are not magnetized). Imagine a toddler's disappointment after waiting for a reward and finally choosing their cartoon reward to put on the board and it doesn't even stick. And then the next! I then checked all the task magnets that we intended to use later - only a small fraction of them stick. I've been wanting to make a comeback with Revain but it gets tricky picking up a board mid practice and how do I explain to the little one where it went. Such a crap!

Pros
  • PAIR OF DRY BOARDS: Melissa & Doug Disney's Timetable features (2) cloth fold-out boards (one has space to mark seven targets, one is blank for magnetic storage).
Cons
  • unreliable
