It does the job well and the metal construction matches my Silver iMac perfectly. It even has a cord that goes into the drawer in the back. I use it for the keyboard cable to keep it looking neat. My 27" iMac used to sit right on the table and I'm used to having it there, but I've been told it's too low there. I'm getting used to the fact that it's about 2 inches taller (which this stand offers), but I suppose it's more ergonomic considering it now places the monitor so that the top third is at my eye level and the top of the screen is just below eye level. All studies recommend this in relation to the monitor height.
