My new roof spot has a leak that is letting water through the window. I tried smudging and it started to work, but once it was set up it just bled out. I used white tape to blend with the white paint. I added the tape in a crisscross pattern so it overlaps around the two pieces allowing the holes to let water through. I know it will be a lot of work for the building to fix the roof and I just need to stop the rain before winter comes and maybe after winter they can fix it. I hope there is snow instead of heavy rain. To be honest, I can't remember a year when it rained as much as this year. we had heavy thunderstorms. yesterday it raged for hours and hard. I went and checked and the seal kept water out. I could see the water trying to pool underneath. but it didn't come. I would recommend for a temporary fix, it works great.
