Review on ๐Ÿ’ก Compact and Powerful: Introducing the Morris Products Micro Emergency Light by Patrick Arnautov

Great light, affordable and unobtrusive

Although these flashlights are typically used for commercial purposes, I bought two of these for home use as the power went out due to the hurricane and my family had to find a flashlight in the dark. Installation is pretty easy as long as you have power where you want to place it. In my case, my house came pre-wired with a fire alarm. I no longer use them as they have been replaced with wireless ones that tie to my alarm system. Instead, I connected these lamps in their place. The battery pack consists of 3 AA Ni-MH batteries pre-installed in the pack and connected to the circuit board. I didn't test the runtimes, but 90 minutes seems reasonable to me due to the small battery. There is enough space inside the device, it's a pity that no larger batteries are available. The luminous flux is adequate and allows you to safely cope with the stairs during a power outage. I have one unit covering the upstairs foyers and stairwell and another unit covering the front entry and living room. When fully disabled they will be very useful for my family's safety. Installation steps: 1. Turn off the power switch at the installation site.2. Remove the back cover of this light by pressing and pulling on the two tabs on the top of the unit.3. Punch pre-marked holes for your specific mounting configuration. I punched out the top center and bottom center slots that lined up directly with the single wall box's mounting holes.4. Punch a 1 inch hole in the center for wiring. 5. Mount the back panel to the wall by routing the wiring through the center hole. 6. Use wire nuts to secure the pre-stripped wires on the fixture to the wall wiring. . Ensure that excess unused cable is taped and secured (120 and 277 VAC cables available). to the backplate by hooking the bottom of the light onto the backplate and then rotating up until the tabs snap into place. 9. Turn on the device. 10. After 10 minutes of charging, press the test button on the top of the device. to make sure the lights are working. If necessary, adjust the lighting angle.
