I've been buying the same filter for 9 years. Works perfectly. Until they made my accommodation obsolete. The DuPont 7000 Series uses "old style" filter housings. Here is the response I got from Omni: Hello! Last year we changed the outer diameter of the CB3 and CB1 filter. The end caps on the CB1 and CB3 were 2.72", they have been changed to a larger size of 2.87". The difference is 0.15", or 5/32". Larger cartridges fit current CBF1, OT32, USM2 and CBF3 cases with room for spare. This was done for better performance. It won't fit in your case if you have a really old OMNI case. If it's an old OMNI case, it should have been replaced a few years ago. Blocks should be replaced every 10 years. These include models: OB3, SFM2, SFM2 Series A, CBF1, CBF3, CBF3 Series A, CBF20, OT32 Series A, OT2/U600, UC2/U500-OmniDeluxe, OT5/U700, SMF-5/U400 OmniSuper, RO2000/RO2000TDS (Original with blue pre-filter pans). New block sizes suitable for: USM2, SFM2 series B, CBF1 series A, CBF3 series B, OT32 series B, OT32 series E, RO2000 series B, RO2050. The only filters that are better suited for older devices are the RS2, RS14 and GAC1 filters. should have been replaced "years" ago? Was 9 years old. For me there is no more Omni.
