The first device I received didn't seem to work properly. I contacted forensics to see if I was using the device incorrectly (instructions were translated from another language and are not always clear). It turned out that the first block was defective. The CSU quickly sent me a replacement. Tested the second module and it worked as expected. Natural gas, butane, methane. Within a second of being near these gases, the new device beeped/vibrated/ignited. And although the manual was what it is, it was easy enough to grasp after 10 minutes of gaming with the 3-button interface. In general, the device does exactly what I bought it for. And thanks to Sarah at Forensics for the great customer service.
