The user manual leaves a lot to be desired, but the device does what it is supposed to do.

The first device I received didn't seem to work properly. I contacted forensics to see if I was using the device incorrectly (instructions were translated from another language and are not always clear). It turned out that the first block was defective. The CSU quickly sent me a replacement. Tested the second module and it worked as expected. Natural gas, butane, methane. Within a second of being near these gases, the new device beeped/vibrated/ignited. And although the manual was what it isโ€ฆ

Failed when I needed it most

So I had a gas leak. My basement smelled of gas. The gas company arrived, located the leak in the copper pipe, and turned off the chimney tap. I decided that I would also buy a detector and bought this one. It arrived and I tested the copper tubing by opening the valve. Of course it beeped and showed a high range on the LCD. Shut down the unit and called a plumber to fix the leak. The plumber came with soap a week later but couldn't see the leak. I told him I have this gas analyzer. I turned it

Terrible instruction manual - So bad I returned the gas analyzer

The most incomplete and poorly written instruction manual I have ever seen. The advertised detection of propane, butane, H2, NH3 and alkanes is not mentioned. to Raven. How can a professional work with a gas analyzer and not know which gases are being monitored? Other examples of my frustration: Man page 5, description of functions "clear" and "save" makes no sense. See page 7, description "Method 1" does not make sense. There is no explanation of how the pump's external interface works or howโ€ฆ
