New belts arrived today. Upset! I have long wanted a wider elastic belt to wear at home with jeans. Part of the belt: the width is perfect for jeans. The material of the belt feels very comfortable. Seems resilient and strong. Nice! Then there's the buckle. What waste! When I put the belt on, it became clear that the buckle was cheap, like a dollar store. The buckle does not match the quality of the belt. Very sad. But that didn't stop me from wearing my new belt. I wore it for about 10 minutes then had to unzip it. Imagine my surprise when I couldn't unbuckle my belt. Like a basic thing for a belt. But the end of the belt did not come out of the buckle. I've read the instructions again, but still to no avail. After a few minutes I realized my new belt had a crappy plastic buckle that I would never be happy with. Finally, I used very strong scissors to permanently remove the extreme bias buckle. I am extremely disappointed. I really wanted to like this belt. I was looking forward to that. But the old plastic buckle on an otherwise good belt was a poor choice. I don't have time to deal with cheap junk. Too much trouble with the return (before that I threw the rest of the buckle in the garbage where it belongs), so the second belt is now in the goodwill box. Unfortunately I still need the belt.
