I have a 36" waist and was concerned that the belt would be a little short 'under 40' so I went for a 44" belt. Unfortunately, this measurement has to be fairly accurate. I have several JASGOOD nylon straps because of the quality and customer service. This stretchy style is fast becoming my favorite. This belt comes with two black plastic buckles (one is slightly smaller and beveled at the top and bottom). If necessary, the length can be changed. The weave is a little tighter and looks a little more formal. The nylon straps are fairly easy to adjust, but the stretch material means you no longer have to bend down or just sit down.

When you hike, you need a belt that flexes as you walk and climb. This belt is perfect for the flexibility you need. Ordered belt for 40" waist. I'm 36-38 and this belt doesn't even fit around my waist. It doesn't even come close to fitting. I had to order another brand.
