I bought a dozen of these for my mother's house and installed them in April. A few months later I checked them and they are all dead. Replacing 4 batteries in 12 alarm clocks costs over $120. For that amount I could rent a professional monitor. Dumb things have a light that blinks every minute, which drains the batteries. I have another brand at home with no flashing lights that work for years without changing batteries. In addition, the batteries are hard to come by, they are so densely packed in the device. That's a terrible design.
