You need "volume" for this setting to work properly. Please note that my system goes from 8" to 6" for this adjustment. Also note that this fitting inserts into a 6 inch tee; Penetration is approximately 1 1/2 inches. Now to get this faucet working. 6" finish until it goes into the tee. When I reached 1 1/2" penetration I switched to 120 grit to finish it off. I could have glued this in place but I made my choice to use duct tape instead because eventually I will be moving to a bigger shop A: I have to mention 2 more things, the time it took to grind this fitting down to size was only 15 minutes in my opinion. Also, I liked the result so much that I ordered another one, which I had just received today, I will install it tomorrow. ;-))
