Bought to hopefully prevent breaking the phone cord next to the lightning connector. As an extra precaution I put 2 on my cable. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because the only way to keep the second cable from slipping is to wrap the cable with tape underneath. The bonus, however, is that the weight of the protectors keeps my unplugged cord from falling off my bedside table!
