EDIT: Having used this charger for a long time and using my Surface Pro (2017) very heavily, most of my usage has been at its best performance. mode there seems to be significant battery degradation. The tablet has been overheating a lot more lately than before, with little change in my usage. Sticking to the recommended battery life mitigates this, but as we said, it wasn't there before. When I unplug my Surface Pro, the tablet often shuts down abruptly as soon as the battery drops below 45%. I'm not saying my battery issues are caused by this third party charger per se, but I'm just saying to be careful with it. not much to say, it fits perfectly in the charging port, the indicator light works well, there is a long cable, I think it's a bit longer than the standard surface charger. The Brick itself also has a USB port and comes with a wall adapter. It also comes with a small holdall with two separate inner pockets, which is pretty nice. All in all, a good buy if you don't want to buy the same thing for almost $100 on Microsoft's website.
