The wheels may be larger for skateboards than quads as they were too wide for the cheaper skates I got them for bought. I mean specifically the width of the bearing seat. When I put them on there was practically no thread on the axle. Because of this, I was embarrassed to tighten them. I usually prefer to wiggle the bearing a bit, but that can cause the wheels to fall off. My daughter didn't like the hardness tester for skating. She is used to stiffer wheels. I mounted wheels on one of my skateboards and the polyurethane itself was decent and I think a good indication of the hardness for outdoor riding. Well, they lit up and didn't.
