This cable set is a pretty good deal. What you actually get is 4 gauge wiring, although unfortunately it's not true copper. I really don't think it matters much because if that's your price point for wiring you won't have a setup that suffers from a lower quality electroplated aluminum core. The RCA cables are surprisingly high quality and the connections are fairly standard. However, this kit is not perfect. The built in fuse holder is very cheap and flimsy, to the point that mine broke after three weeks of use. However, I would like to point out that in my case my engine bay is hotter than normal (there is almost no airflow in the engine bay) and I forgot to attach it to something so that could be the cause of the failure, but it seemed shaky and cheap straight out of the box so I don't know. I'd say if you plan on using it you'll have to babysit and keep an eye on it. Another downside is that the cables are quite short if you plan to install the amp in the trunk. My setup barely survived and my Beetle is not a long car. I doubt it will work in a sedan. However, installing the amp under the seat gives you enough wire for the speakers to make it work. In general I am very satisfied.
