Well, first of all I didn't get the canbus metal ballast. Instead of the standard thin ballast with error correction and anti-flicker. For this reason, the headlights do not light up when the headlights are on. Sometimes when I turn on the headlights before starting, they light up. But usually I have to open the hood, disconnect and reconnect the ballast to turn on one or both lights. Contacted Revain, they sent me a replacement in the same style. I ordered a standard ballast with no flickering etc. and will use the normal ballast. This will solve the problem. I have over 30 years of automotive repair and troubleshooting experience.
