The craftsmanship, the obvious pride these artisans have in their wares and the extra mile they put into the beautiful presentation of this pencil case makes me want to see more things from the rustic city .!.what a breath of fresh air! The individual approach is invaluable. Please do yourself a favor and check them out. the pencil case came in a really cool burlap bag with a nice letter on it. the quality is amazing! Buying something you hope will resemble what you're looking at and getting something far better is a great experience for a change. We were put off by the smell. the smell of leather is usually quite strong. that means it's real leather. If you don't like the smell, try putting it in the sun with a newspaper. a box with a crumpled newspaper for a few days. will also absorb a lot of odor, you could even sprinkle baking soda in it. much luck.
