- they blackout light 100% and that’s a fact- they look simple and stylish- it comes a little wrinkled - not out of this world - but it’s a very fair condition, and once out of the box I believe it will straighten- true to the size- I bought them for soundproofing purposes. I live on the 1st floor in the suburbs of NYC (1 mile away from Manhattan) and I’ll say this - it won’t soundproof as one would want. You can still hear the cars and people etc. But before curtains —- I used to even in silent hear the white noise from the street with the AC running —- and now all of that noise is masked a bit. I feel like i have more of a quality of sleep with the curtains. It’s about 10 decibels less, or perhaps a few more but given or take that’s the difference between curtains and no curtains. I would give a 3 star for soundproofing.
