I would like to add a photo to this review. My son works as a night DJ and asks me to build some light towers for him. I was looking for a good way to add light in towers and found this. For 2-5 foot towers, we attached one at the top and one at the bottom, and then covered the towers with a white fabric cover. The controller (on music) captures the rhythm of the music very well and creates a nice light effect. The light is bright and perfect for our application. We power our battery with a USB battery used to charge a cell phone, but it can be used with any USB power adapter. I will say that in the first order there was a set. Lights that didn't work but replacements were sent promptly and work great. We will definitely buy again
