Review on Honeycomb Ceramic Soldering Jewelry Making by Mike Ogunlana

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Takes a lot of heat from my burner.

I needed a stable surface for silver soldering. I've used a carbon block for soldering in the past and since the AI had lots of things to solder, the carbon block didn't last very long. Ceramic plates are known to absorb a lot of heat and don't break down as easily as charcoal. I'm happy to report that this soldering board is top notch!

Pros
  • Withstands temperatures up to 2100℉ (1200℃)
Cons
  • boring packaging
