I ordered several pairs: a gray plaid, a teal plaid and a red Christmas plaid. Every comment said to take a size smaller. As a larger person, do NOT do this. Get the right size. I ordered 2XL in gray check and they fit like XL. I also ordered the blue/green plaid and the red Christmas plaid in XL and for some reason they are larger than the 2XL in the gray plaid. I can still return all pairs because I wanted to order a 2XL but due to sizing comments I ordered an XL and received a 2XL for comparison.... I wish I could get 3XL. Like I said, maybe. As for the quality of the product, they are thin microfleece but not "transparent". Great for summer. If you get cold easily and you are looking for a warm pair of lounge pants, then this is not the right choice.
