I was very happy with this comb guide set. I have a variety of guide combs that I have collected over the years. Among them I had a pair that has a metal clip instead of an all plastic clip and I like using them because they attach more securely to the clipper. So I was looking forward to having a complete set of metal combs with guide clips for my clippers. It wasn't until I opened the plastic bag they were in that the very first guide comb I pulled out (#6) didn't have a metal clip at all. It was a regular plastic WAHL #6 that I already have! In earnest. This is indeed a guide comb from the Wahl brand. That's a bit of a headache. In any case, all other guide combs are as described (no brand) and all have a metal clip, only #6 is different. If it were another guide that I rarely use I wouldn't mind, but I use #6 quite often. To complicate things further, I'm an expat living in South America so sending the exchange kit back is really not worth all the hassle or cost. So I guess I got stuck on it. Some kind of crap. But I have to say that all the other combs (the ones with metal clips) are very good. Really good quality and they snap onto my clippers very securely. Anyone with a clipper that fits Wahl guide combs should consider these.
