I bought this to use the same keyboard/monitor/webcam/mouse for my personal and work computers. I have a Lenovo ThinkVision monitor with a powered USB hub built in, so with that one port I get a keyboard, mouse, monitor, Razer webcam (Full HD 60fps) and power for each laptop. The only downside is that it only gets power to the laptop that's currently on, so the other one goes to sleep. It would be great if it could power both, but I understand it would be a lot more difficult. A word of warning, you need a really good USB-C cable if you want the performance and bandwidth to run EVERYTHING over a single cable. Get the shortest Gen2 cable you can use. Before I upgraded my cables, the bandwidth of the cable was not sufficient for the webcam.
