Review on 🎧 Sennheiser Presence Grey UC Bluetooth Headset (508342) - Dual Connectivity for Mobile Device & Softphone/PC, with Carrying Case and USB Dongle (Black) by Robert Dabney

Don't waste money. This headset is incredibly unreliable, cheaply made junk.

The thing is good when it works. which doesn't happen often. I've never had a bad experience with Sennheiser, but I really hate this headset. This is really making me reconsider them as a brand. I work from home in customer service so I do that about 8 hours a day. The Bluetooth is terrible. You turn it on to try to connect and even if you're only a few feet away from your PC, it won't connect. Most of the time I have to turn it on and hold the headset a few inches away from the dongle for it to connect, and sometimes it turns off again when I put it back in my ear. And since it's Bluetooth, should I be able to go into the kitchen for a coffee or something? NO. I barely have time to leave the office when I lose signal. Some days are better than others. Sometimes I can't get it to work at all and have to use a different headset. I have to agree with other comments on the issue of discomfort. Yes, it is incredibly uncomfortable to wear. It feels like a small stone has been pushed into my ear canal. Did they even test this headset? Not only does it almost never work, it's also the most uncomfortable headset I've ever worn in my life. Everything would be fine if I bought it as a cheap headset, but I paid $80 for this junk. In a market where I have hundreds of $15 headsets to choose from, I was willing to pay more for quality from a brand I trust. Well I've learned my lesson. Sennheiser will definitely not be my go-to audio brand going forward. I wonder if Audio-Technica makes headsets? Give two stars instead of one because when they work, the sound is top notch.
