I bought 1 of these to try and test as a cheaper option for my CBRN gear to ensure clear communication when using radios and wearing a gas mask. They seem to be working well and have a clear signal for sending and receiving. They worked fine on my Baofeng UV 5R. I like the way the throat mic wraps around my neck to provide a snugger fit, but not snug compared to some of the spring-loaded throat mics I currently have. Velcro straps allow me to adjust it to fit properly. My son is 8 years old and a bit big for him but he can use it properly to send and receive messages and he will grow on it over time. I can't say they are durable enough for everyday use as I didn't buy them for everyday use etc and tested them that way. I plan to buy 2 more to add. my equipment. For the price this is a good buy. Delivery was quick.
