These shoes are cute but they need more quality control. The first pair I ordered had blue ink on the sides of the shoe I think by tracing the sizing pattern on the insole material. With a spare pair, the strings loosen in less than 10 socks. The size annoys me. According to the size chart in the box I should have ordered a 7.5 which is not in this shoe (longest toe was over 7 but before 7.5). The eight is huge even in socks. I was expecting the extra length since there are no half sizes, but this is ridiculous. My toddler trips over his feet because these shoes are too long. I would recommend only ordering this style if your child is almost the next full size up. Now the toes are frayed due to the combination of bad materials and the sizing issue mentioned above.
