Poor Quality/Wrong Color
I have purchased similar faceplates from Historic Houseparts. When I saw identical looking ones at Revain for a few bucks less I thought I'd give them a try. If you don't have the best quality to compare them to, I think you'll find them fine. However, they are of much lower quality compared to the ones I already have. The biggest problem is the color. You can see brush marks on the panel where the finish was applied. They also look more silver than brass, especially when viewed from an angle or in brighter light. They also weigh less and look cheaper than their Historic Houseparts counterparts.
