To be honest I couldn't figure out how to use them! I tried them on dry hair first and found them a little - just a little - difficult to button up, plus they definitely didn't "stick" to the sides. The whole turban rose a few inches above my ears. I tried twisting the long ends in different ways, the result is the same. It's not what it looks in the pictures and I haven't read enough reviews to know if anyone else has had this problem. There are no instructions so I just waved at them. I figured it might "stick" to wet hair, so I gave it a try - but damn, I was squirming like a turtle on my back and still couldn't even figure out how to do it. even tucking my hair into the long, narrow end, let alone twisting or buttoning it up! My hair is shoulder length so the length doesn't matter. I give this product a 2 for the wonderfully soft fabric and lovely muted colors - and I know from all the reviews that it works very well for some people - but not for me.
