I've seen a few reviews complaining that most of these shower heads (the shower head itself and the hose cover) are made out of plastic. I get complaints because plastic is rarely thought of as the material you need in a fairly expensive bathroom accessory, but personally I don't mind at all. I've been using the Grohe showerhead for half a year, which is perfect in every way except for the weight as it's stainless steel (although it feels like hard lead in the morning) and I've got to the point where I'm doing unwanted exercise really don't like that she gives me every morning. If you usually leave your shower head attached to the slider, you might want to look elsewhere as weight isn't an issue. You can also opt for a beautiful stainless steel shower enclosure. If you often detach the shower head and use it as a hand shower, since I rinse my head almost every day, then you shouldn't be afraid of plastic. The thing weighs next to nothing, and when you reluctantly get out of bed in the morning, the missing few tens of grams make all the difference. I don't want to lift weights first thing in the morning.
