I had an earlier model (no backlit keys) that worked fine. Until I lost the Bluetooth connection after 5 minutes of keyboard inactivity. I used the earlier model so much that the lettering on the buttons (A, S, D) wore off. I don't berate ClamCase too much for this as I type aggressively and use the keyboard a lot. Also, I type in the dark a lot and figured it was time to upgrade anyway, so I bought this ClamCase+ for my iPad Air 2. But like the previous version, this one loses Bluetooth connectivity too. The connection can be re-established by going to "Settings" ==> Bluetooth ==> ClamCase Plus Keyboard and then simultaneously pressing and holding the "Function" button and the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds. It reconnects immediately, but I have to do this 10 times a day. Very annoying! I'm not sure if this is an iOS update compatibility issue and I hope it gets fixed with the next iOS update. (This problem appeared when migrating to iOS 10. (I'm currently using iOS 10.2.) Another downside is the sticky "E" key. It doesn't repeat the key (yet), but it interferes with my typing. Maybe it will fix itself. (Unlikely.) On the other hand, the case is more durable than the previous version, the matte finish has more grip than the previous version, weight gain (more powerful), backlit buttons (which work great), and a larger battery that is needed for higher power consumption. This increased weight wasn't a huge issue for me as it still has the same form factor and actually felt better to carry as I could hold it better.. So I'm giving the keyboard 3 stars, will but update if/when the connection issue is resolved.
