This mounting system is well designed, easy to assemble and comes with all the parts you need for most situations. However, this mount offers few options when it comes to wall placement. It is not suitable for mounting on a stand in the middle of the wall where you intend to place the TV. You can only hit 2 wall studs. In my opinion this mount needs to be at least 32 inches wide so you can hit 3 sets of spikes with one in the middle. Do this and then use HD Wall Anchors on each side.
