SF Black review: I ordered at least 15+ cases for my iPhone 7 Plus, and this case is leaps and bounds my favorite.It's grippy - I almost didn't order this case because it was plastic. However, it has a grippy facing which makes it an absolute pleasure to hold one handed. NO other case offered the right amount of grip and slim enough to design to make me fall in love with it, but this case did just that. It's grippy in your hand or even sitting on the bed. It is hard plastic so it has a tendency to move on other plastics or hard surfaces but all cases do that, that said it still sticks to my kitchen counters just as good as a Silicone or Leather case. This case has more grip than the other marketed "grippy" cases like the Apple Silicon or Leather (after its oiled), Speck Presudo Grip, Silk case, etc. This case beats them all hands down and is smaller and less expensive to boot. It's not overly grippy to the point where you will ever complain about pulling it in/out of your pocket, instead it will stay put while you workout.It's slim - it is a minamilist case. But not like some of the .35mm cases that don't have a big enough lip to actually protect the camera or front glass. This case has the perfect amount of lip to protect both, without protruding so much that it makes edge swipes difficult like other cases like Apples Leather/Silicone or Speck cases. This case is noticeably thinner than some of my favorite runner ups, like the Apple Silicon or Learher cases. In comparison to those cases, the extra 2-3mm it shaved off the width and depth was enough to make this case a winner.
