I bought this scale to replace not very accurate scales. I often ferment and mix chemicals to make things for my shop (cocktail bar) so I need a very sensitive scale. I like these because of the size of the weighing surface. I can set a mixing bowl on top and keep reading while I add the ingredients. I'd say I wish the display was tilted forward so I could see it better when I had a large cooking bowl obscuring the screen. I love how bright the display is, and the touchscreen-style buttons have the added benefit of making them easy to clean. If you have a button scale, you'll always want to throw it away when you're collecting salt and flowers between the buttons. If you're not using them for cooking, consider the smaller size. The scale is quite large compared to others, which is great if you're working with zucchini or a flower, but probably not great if you're working with post.
