I've been an audiophile for over forty years and have used everything from lamp wire to exotic speaker wire and the 12 gauge version of this wire holds a high regard for sound quality and hearing ability. Speaker wire that costs hundreds more than two 6 foot lengths that doesn't sound as good as KnuKonceptz wire and I'm speaking from years of experience. And the thing about this cable is that it gets better the longer you run music over it. Does it sound as good as a pair of exotic $600 cables? May be. This is a very subjective question worth answering and depends on system components and settings. Many people don't believe that the cable you use to connect your system and speakers can make a difference. That's totally wrong. If you are used to listening to cheap equipment and only listening to music in the background, then the lamp cable is the right choice. It's cheap and plentiful. However, if you've invested in your music system, this speaker cable should be on your must-have list. You can hear the difference with this cable in a cheap system, but again it depends on many things including how you train your ear-brain connection. Yes, your ears need some training to recognize the different levels of quality and everything that is going on in the music. The bottom line is, buy this speaker cable. You'll probably like it to some degree, and you can't go wrong for the price. Stick to 12 or 10 gauge if you have it. When connecting speaker wire, be sure to use good quality copper connectors, pins, or spade lugs.
