Review on ARRIS Surfboard S33 Multi Gigabit Ethernet by Jeff Perez

Just installed. Elegant design, looks great. Immediately after activation, it went through more than one cycle, indicating a firmware update (amber flashing) and after a reboot. I didn't think this would happen 3-4 times in a row. I prepared to bring it back. But after a few cycles it got stuck and is working fine now. However, I'm not entirely sure about Arris' customer support. I was told this was paid support and when I asked if it even covered a new purchase (under warranty) the rep hung up. Wow! I just hope the modem works without any issues that require customer support. I still haven't recovered from the SB6190 smash.
