I ordered this jacket for my Chihuahua and despite the sizing guide it was too small for my dog. I had to modify (sew more fabric by removing the cute pocket) to fit my dog's torso, so I caution you to order at least one size up. I really think a large size would be a better choice. how wrong the size is. Chihuahuas are not that big. My dog is probably 15 pounds and not overweight. Remember that if it's a little bigger, you can easily adjust it smaller with velcro. It's harder to adjust it larger because there's very little fabric and velcro. I love that the jacket is reversible and I think it's well made and very durable.
