Review on VisualFactory by Kevin Harmon

I like how it can be easily set up to suit your needs - you have many options for different types of manufacturing processes (from manual through semi-automated). The tooling / fixtures database could do with some improvement but if this were my only problem then other solutions would not exist! There are so few tools out there which combine all these functions together into one package. You get everything under 1 roof from production planning management right down to costing per part/item produced or manufactured. We no longer need separate software as we used before where our engineers had 2 sets of documentation relating to each process they worked within the factory line. Now its just ONE piece of information and its stored centrally.
