Adjustable waistband, convenient zipper and button closure, extended length; perfect for a skinny 5 year old with telescopic legs. They are very dark so may bleed in the wash and are a beautiful pair of pants. The leg length is quite long, at least two inches longer than Garanimals and Lee's comparable size. Not sure about the shrinkage yet, but it doesn't look like it will be much. The slightly elastic material is perfect for wearing comfort.
