We considered paying an electrician to add electric lighting to this cabinet, but we bought this product and got great light for a fraction of the cost. With a motion detector that lasts for 18 seconds without further movement, we don't have to worry about the light staying on long enough to quickly drain the internal battery or accidentally leaving electric lights at the expense of our electricity bill. . Installation took less than five minutes, and to charge simply slide the light off the screws and plug in the charger. When you're done, slide the light back onto the propellers and you're ready for a well-lit race.
