I was concerned if it would be bright enough to shine under a kitchen cabinet. It's definitely bright enough. The motion sensor works, but the light doesn't stay on long enough (for my particular use). It only stays on for about 15-20 seconds and then turns off until it detects motion again. Maybe it's just the one I have but in the 3 days I've had I've had to fully charge every day. 24 hours maximum with one hour charge. We have this in the back of our kitchen at night for extra light. We've set it to only detect motion, so it doesn't always work either.
